Free trial links
Hand out a link that unlocks one of your tiers free for a few days — no card needed, and it ends by itself.
- 1
Open Creator Dashboard → Tiers & Trials and scroll to Free trial links.
- 2
Choose the trial length (1 – 90 days), an optional maximum number of uses (leave empty for unlimited) and which tier it unlocks (Entry tier is the default).
- 3
Click Create link. Click the link in the list to copy it — it looks like collectfans.com/trial/abc123.
- 4
Use Disable to stop a link without losing it, Enable to switch it back on, or the bin icon to delete it. The list shows how many times each link has been used.
Trial subscribers get your welcome message like anyone else, and count as subscribers in your dashboard and on the leaderboard.
What the fan sees
- 1
The link opens a page with your name, the tier and how many days they get.
- 2
If they are not signed in they can create an account or log in first; they come straight back to the offer afterwards.
- 3
Start my free trial gives them the tier immediately, and they land on your profile with everything unlocked.
The trial simply ends after the number of days you set. Nothing is charged and no card is asked for, so the fan has to subscribe themselves to carry on.
Why a link can be refused
“You have already used a free trial with this creator” — each fan gets one trial per creator, ever.
“This trial link has been fully claimed” — the maximum number of uses is reached. Create a new link or set a higher limit.
“This trial link has expired” or “is no longer available” — the link has been disabled or deleted.
You cannot start a trial on your own profile.
